About Attorney Terry
Scott Terry is a trusted and experienced attorney focusing on estate planning, probate, personal injury law and wrongful death law, with over 35 years of dedicated service to clients in Washington and more recently in Utah. Raised in Des Moines, Washington, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance with a minor in Italian from Brigham Young University in 1986. He received his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 1989 and was admitted to the Washington Bar that same year.

Attorney Terry helps individuals and families create comprehensive estate plans, including wills, revocable living trusts, financial and healthcare powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. He also guides clients and fiduciaries through the probate and trust administration process, efficiently handling estate settlement and resolving complex probate and trust administration matters. In addition, he represents injured victims in personal injury cases and families of victims in wrongful death cases, fighting for maximum compensation when others’ negligence causes serious harm or death through the negligence of others in car, motorcycle or boating accidents, and other serious injuries.
Throughout his career, Attorney Terry has successfully represented thousands of clients. He has tried more than 40 jury trials, served as a Pro Tem Judge in multiple courts, and has been featured as a legal analyst on NW Cable News. Licensed in both Washington and Utah, he maintains offices in Sumner, Washington, and St. George, Utah, splitting his time between the two communities to better serve clients in each region.
